Below is a picture of my shopping trip. It was definitely a disappointing week and I had 3 RR’s expiring today. The only thing we really needed was the eczema medication for my poor son’s leg. By purchasing two Neosporin products I was able to take advantage of the free first aid kit ($4.99 value). My total out of pocket was $12.45. This is another FANTASTIC week to shop Walgreens! I purchased some things we really needed (especially the sunscreen) and spent less than $17, with $7 in register rewards to use on my next visit. Have I mentioned lately how much I love Walgreens? Be certain while you’re at the store to pick up a copy of the Walgreens Skin Care Guide. You should see a display near the beauty counter and it’s filled with some wonderful Walgreens coupons which you can stack with the appropriate manufacturer coupons. Be sure to click on the images to enlarge them. Inside it, you’ll find a coupon for $1 off any Coppertone Sport sunscreen. The coupon only needs to be scanned once – it will take off $1 for every item you purchase. I used it this morning to get two cans of Coppertone Sport spray sunscreen for $2.29 each! Be sure to look for the bonus-sized cans (I only found them in the SPF 50 variety). They contain 25% more sunscreen and still work for the sale and $10 register reward. I spent a total of $16.29 and have three register rewards remaining for my next visit (totaling $7). I started with $6 in register rewards from last week. Kellogg’s Fruit Loops Cereal — Buy 2 for $5, receive a $2 RR $1 off of 2 Kellogg’s Cereals, 8.7 ounces or larger, mix and match (Printable coupon – no longer available.) Here are some other Kellogg’s coupons you could use: $0.70/1 Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut Cereal Coupons.com (exp 06/02/2012) – I’m not sure if this cereal is part of the sale. I was given specific instructions from Camden to restock our Fruit Loops supply. $1/3 Kellogg’s Cereals, 10 oz+ 5/13/12 RP Insert (exp 06/24/2012) Sign up with Kellogg’s and print coupons directly from their website. — Kelloggs Coupon Newsletter Offer

And while you’re there, don’t forget to pick up your new Walgreens coupon booklet at the front of the store (valid 5/27 through 6/30/12). Happy shopping! ![]() I did my usual Sunday round of shopping this morning and stopped by Walgreens and Albertsons. Click the images to enlarge them.
I have to laugh when I see the Walmart commercials comparing shopping trips between their stores and Walgreens. You can save so much money at Walgreens and get incredible deals when you combine their sales with coupons (both manufacturer and their store coupons). Don’t get me wrong, I love Walmart but they don’t always have the best deal in town. With that being said, however, Walmart is amazing when it comes to price-matching. |
